By instantly guiding drivers to free slots, the PGS significantly reduces search times, lowers vehicle emissions within enclosed structures, and ensures that mall visitors start their shopping experience stress-free. It is an essential infrastructure upgrade for high-traffic commercial hubs prioritizing customer satisfaction.
How the System Works
The PlateauTec PGS relies on a robust architecture connecting edge hardware to centralized management software via TCP/IP.
- Vehicle Detection: Ultrasonic sensors are used to detect the presence of vehicles, while loop detectors are used to monitor the flow of traffic.
- Visual Indicators: The detector and indicator light are integrated, with the red light indicating occupancy and the green light indicating availability.
- Controller Capacity: Each system controller uses a half-duplex RS485 interface and integrates a 5-way bus output. Each controller can connect up to 160 sensors.
Software UI & Remote Management
Administrators access the system via a secure login interface where every user has specific permissions. The default administrative credentials are "user" / "123456".
The Interactive Lot Map
The map of parking spaces provides real-time information to drivers about available parking spaces, helping them navigate to the nearest open spot. Each space is designated for one car and is displayed on the lot map as an available or occupied space. An occupied space is displayed in red, while an available space is displayed in green.
PostoMotor Mobile App: In addition to the browser-based dashboard, facility managers and authorized users can monitor lot capacity remotely in real-time through the dedicated PostoMotor mobile application, ensuring complete operational visibility on the go.
